Skinspirations is the home of ExpertEsthetics cosmetic medical training
Dr. Elliott teaches esthetic techniques to other physicians.

Cynthia Elliott, MD, the owner of Skinspirations, has practiced in the Tampa Bay area since 1990. Originally board-certified in emergency medicine, she spent fifteen years in the emergency departments of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center and was an Associate Professor for the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

In 2005, after spending two years learning aesthetic treatments from her own dermatologist, she opened Skinspirations, a practice devoted exclusively to cosmetic and regenerative medicine. Dr. Elliott’s passion is combining her knowledge from different specialties with her interest in research to find innovative ways to maximize results. She has two patents that are currently pending.

As a national speaker and trainer for several aesthetic product companies including Allergan, (the makers of Botox and Juvederm), Suneva Medical (producers of Bellafill), and Cutera Aesthetic lasers, Dr. Elliott has trained many of the best cosmetic physicians in the area. You can view some of Dr. Elliott’s injection instruction videos on Youtube. With her first-hand knowledge of other clinicians’ talent, she’s recruited some of the best esthetic clinicians in the area to join the Skinspirations team.

Dr. Elliott has served as an Expert Witness in Cosmetic Medicine for the Florida Board of Medicine, is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic  Surgery, the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society, the Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation, and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Elliott received her MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her emergency medicine residency at the Denver Health Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in biology and psychology, followed by two years at Indiana University in the physiologic psychology Ph.D. program before she changed paths to attend medical school.

She lives in Clearwater Beach with her spousal equivalent, Rick, and 4 rescue cats, all of whom are neutered. For fun, she enjoys anything to do with the water, snow skiing, horror movies, preparing the next year’s Halloween props, and trying to find time to visit friends.
